After installing the update from the App Store, and after the system restarts, I am prompted to either select either my typical MacOS drive or the MacOS Install drive. Per the instructions on the update thread, I selected the install drive, but the boot/install process freezes. The first posted image indicates where the process froze for about 5 minutes, and the second indicates where the process would not proceed at all. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Try moving FakeSMC.kext and all other kexts from "EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.13" folder to "EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other" folder.

Hi There,

I have a similar problem to thepreacher. Can you explain how to install FakeSMC.kext without using Multibeast.

I can boot in safe mode, multibeast fails to install FakeSMC (or anything). I can't find the Volume folder in on the drive in finder.

Any tips? I don't do much Hackintoshing.

I opened EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.13 folder and the only thing that's in there is realtekALC.kext
Do you have FakeSMC.kext in the "EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other" folder?

I met the same problem, and I don't know how to resolve..
