I am trying to boot with nv-disable for updating the system. But it turns out in verbose mode, the screen clears itself for several times and stuck at IOConsoleUsers.:crazy::crazy::crazy: And it keeps clear the screen and print IOConsoleUsers on the screen...

Is there a way to install new nvidia driver on another driver from an older system? Probably there is a command line solution.

don't use "nv_disable=1". Instead, just stop injecting your graphics in Clover and have a try.

I did not change anything in Clover wrt Nvidia. You need to set the SIP to 0x0 for all Nvidia install in High Sierra. These are the steps I followed. I was already running High Sierra.
1. uninstalled Nvidia using the Nvidia driver manager, rebooted with SIP = 0x0,
2. installed the supplemental update for High Sierra, rebooted (SIP=0x0 still),
3. installed latest Nvidia drivers, rebooted normally.
