Cannot boot with nv-disable=1

I am trying to boot with nv-disable for updating the system. But it turns out in verbose mode, the screen clears itself for several times and stuck at IOConsoleUsers. And it keeps clear the screen and print IOConsoleUsers on the screen...

Is there a way to install new nvidia driver on another driver from an older system? Probably there is a command line solution.

don't use "nv_disable=1". Instead, just stop injecting your graphics in Clover and have a try.

I did not change anything in Clover wrt Nvidia. You need to set the SIP to 0x0 for all Nvidia install in High Sierra. These are the steps I followed. I was already running High Sierra.
1. uninstalled Nvidia using the Nvidia driver manager, rebooted with SIP = 0x0,
2. installed the supplemental update for High Sierra, rebooted (SIP=0x0 still),
3. installed latest Nvidia drivers, rebooted normally.
