After upgrading to Mountain Lion I can no longer boot into the operating system. No matter what boot flag I use I get to a point where the computer hangs and does not continue. I've yet to be able to boot into the OS a single time. I am getting the following error when I try to boot safemode:
IntelCPUMonitor: [Warning] Can't add key to fake SMC device, kext will not load
This image named "error" is a screen shot of where it stops after booting into safemode.
After using the boot flag -f I get the same error and the boot hangs at the following:
SNB Framebuffer did not show up, unload
Does anyone know what's going on or how to get me into the OS?
This is my system:
Intel Core i5-2500K / Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 / 8GB Corsair 1600Mhz DDR3 (two 4GB sticks)
