Cannot Boot into Installer!

Hello all, my mobo is not allowing me to boot in to the USB drive to
get to the installer for Sierra (It's a fresh install! ). I suspect its not being able to disable
secure boot - but I could be way off. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Specs below

Asus Maximus VIII Gene
Intel I7-6700k
Nvidia GTX 950

Your Secure Boot setting (Other OS) appears to be correct. Have you set the other required settings correctly? In particular the XHCI handoff option should be set to Enabled and VT-d should be set to Disabled.

Selecting "Other OS" as OS type is enough. There are successful cases of this mobo so that shouldn't be the problem.
By saying "not allowing me to boot in to the USB drive", does it reach the Clover screen? (sor I'm a little confused)

Yes all of those things have been set.

It does not reach clover - when I try to boot to the drive it cycles to a black screen and then it goes back to the motherboard.
