Hello,

I am trying to setup OS X Mavericks in my new Haswell Build.

+ Intel i7 4770K
+ Asus Sabertooth Z87
> Latest Bios Update 16xx was installed !
> UEFI SecureBoot set to "Other OS"
> CSM boot settings is "Enabled"
> VT-x is "Disabled"
> (only) HDMI, 1080p, intel HD 4600
+ Samsung 840 Pro SSD (x3 256GB)
> OS X has a dedicated SSD
> ESXi, Linux and Windows will use the remaining 2 SSDs
+ Areca 1214-4i Raid ( Raid 5 of 4x WD Red 3TB )
> No plans to use it as a Boot disk and OS X already detects it without any issues.

When I tried to install with Unibeast, I was getting a Blackscreen. So I modified unibeast's config.plist to IGPEnabler=no
Then I was able to continue and install OS X to my SSD!

Is it true that Chimera cannot be installed to an SSD with GPT and UEFI; Do I need to use Clover for booting? Because, I am not able to boot from the Chimera on the SSD.

However, I am able to boot to the SSD, using Bootloader in USB - but only in Safe mode.

I have attached the screenshot of Multibeast, current plist file, The error screen I have when I try to boot in the Normal mode (using USB boot loader).

Can anyone help me with this?

thanks
Raj

Fixed this myself.

I decided to go with Clover for Installing OS X from a Vanilla USB Installer.

For my motherboard, Only needed to Inject FakeSMC.kext with Clover !
