Can you update osx in appstore on a hackintosh?

I´m planning to build my first Hackintosh and i am wondering if you can update OSX in the appstore?
what kind of problems can i run into?

Im, planning on having Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SOC FORCE, Socket-1150

Intel i7 4790K
and a GTX 960 SSC 2 GGB DDR5
Corsair Balastic 16 GB

It depends, minor updates like 10.10.1 to 10.10.2 can be ok but your mileage will vary.

Major updates, 10.9 to 10.10 you either use the unibeast method, similar to inital installation or if you are using clover you may get away with a update via the app store. Again mileage will vary.

My advice would be to check on the forum any time there is an update to see if there is any problems.
