Have you got a solution to the problem yet?.

I have an ati 4850 1gb and have the same problem tried everything, only way i can get it to boot is using graphicsenabler=no. Works fine in 10.7.3.

I'm also looking for a solution, got everything working except my 4850 (0x94421002), tried everything from a DSDT to the QE/CI Exotic patches by netkas. Only thing i got working was 1080p resolution through editing the chameleon boot file - but still no QE/CI or overscan for my display

Hello, i also have the same problem, everything worked fine in 10.7.3 with netkas modification made to ati4850, and graphics enabler =Yes for both screens, and now if i set it to yes, it hangs, and no =no qeci, hoping not to have to change my card....its lasted so long...
