Hey.

First time hackintosher here.
I was originally going to buy a Mac Mini, but realized the video card was total crap for any intensive graphic work or gaming. I also realized I could go the hackintosh route, spend about the same money and have a far superior computer. So, I'm looking for some advice.

I'm a person who does a lot of graphic and video work. I also do a lot of audio production.
I'd also like the option to boot into Windows and do some gaming, because I used to be an avid gamer but haven't had a computer that could handle any recent games in a very long time.

I suppose it should also be noted that I run on dual 24" monitors
And for audio, I run through a Focursite Clarett 2 Pre.

Anyway, here it is. Is there any of this that I can go cheaper on? I'd like to cut cost where I can without losing horsepower.

As for ram, I'm not sure I'm worried too much. If it's works well for now, that's fine. I can upgrade to improved ram in the future when expanding/upgrading

I also do a lot of audio production.
You should take a look at the GA Z390 Designare as it's got two onboard TH3 ports. Very important for an audio production build. They both work, even with hotswapping. Only costs 30 dollars more than the ASUS and there is a complete guide.

If you also need BT then go with the Fenvi FV-T919 card instead of the TP-Link. The Fenvi sells for $54 on newegg.com.
