Can not get titan-x to work on Mavericks Dual Xeon X9DAi Motherboard

I have a dual Xeon setup with an Supermicro X9Dai motherboard.
I have it running fine with a Quadro 4000.
I want to switch to octane render, and got a Titan-X. But it wont work.

Any pointers?

This is a tough one to crack. What do you mean not work? Where do you get stuck? What bootloader are your using , OS, etc?

The newest Titan uses Maxwell architecture which I outlined here was not compatible with Mavericks. The only way you will get your Titan to boot is with the nv_disable=1 boot flag. Though you will not have Graphics Acceleration, you can make the change to Yosemite.
