Requires that you install High Sierra or Sierra versions of macOS. Mojave or Catalina won't work. Install the Nvidia web drivers for your 1060 for that to fully work.

Yes, when you use nv_disable=1 boot flag it will work for the install process. If you make a Unibeast installer that flag is already set for you.
