Hi!
I saw in the golden build of @CaseySJ that efficiency cores (E-cores) can be disabled by SSDT. However, it also says it is deprecated as of January 15, 2022.
I have tried to search through the thread (175 pages as of now), to no avail. (The “search thread” function of the forum appears to be broken, and only site-wide results are returned.)
I am thinking whether to buy a 12600 or any CPUs with E-cores, e.g., 12600K. If E-cores can be disabled without going to BIOS, it will be a decisive factor since I will be dual booting Windows. If E-cores can only be disabled in BIOS, I may as well just go for 12600.
