Well, I got my first hackintosh up & running. I noticed my homebrew Win7 machine is now 8 years old (and still runs like a clock).
So, is there a prebuilt Wintel box (HP, Dell, Acer, etc) that would make a decent hackintosh? We don't use our units as toys but as real computers doing personal & professional work on them. Any more it seems one can buy a prebuilt for less than making your own homebrew kit. Thoughts?

HP Elite 8300 Business desktops work with Sierra if you add in a compatible graphics card. The GT710 works and is inexpensive.
The only thing that doesn't work is the onboard audio. There are easy to install usb audio dongles for about 7 dollars that are plug and play.

This build features an I7-3770 which may be much more CPU power than you would need. Ivy Bridge I3s and I5s work too.

Thank you much. Now to get the Boss to believe we need to replace Ol' Faithful.
