[h=2]Hello there

I'm going to buy the custoMac budget ATX from buyer's guide in detail:

Motherboard --> Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3
Cpu --> i5 4460
Ram --> Crucial Ballistix 8 or 16
SSD --> Samsung 850 evo 256Gb

And here is my question will I have any problem if I buy Corsair VS-550 instead of the recommended Corsair CS-550

thnx in advance

Thank you very much for your answer!

So the only problem is the mess of cables? :p
With 45$ less i can buy the same thing but i have to clean up the cables?

Would it be better to give less and just clean up them?

If you get a case with good cable mgt. features it's not a problem.
Clean them up yourself, save some cash.

Make sure your PSU is rated Haswell "Ready" or "Certified." Long story short, if you don't use a Haswell approved PSU, you system will probably shut down when the Haswell CPU goes into idle.

Also, make sure your memory is listed on your motherboard's memory support list. Haswell CPU spec's are "tighter" than previous generation CPUs.

I didn't catch the part with the memory
do you mean the ram? ( i chose them from a single advice at buyer's guide exept the psu) may i see something else about ram?

for me I bought CX750 watts from corsair, and case Corsair 750D( big tower)
the problem I had is the cable on the back of the case( even with high end case) and ended up with lot of not used cable in the back.

get RM Fully Modules power supply either from EVGA or Corsair

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EB7UIO6/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

Or

Fully Modular EVGA 550

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0106RDI3W/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

note if you going to use high end graphic card, get something between 650 to 750 watts

and good
