Hey Guys!

Is planing on building a Video Editing Machine to do some 1080 3D HD video editing and bluray rendering. Also, lots of CAD software. I'll be intalling Win8 and Lion.

I just bought a Powermac G5 Case and I'm planing to fit the system in there.

This is the list of parts. All taken from the buyer's guide. I really want to make sure I'm not committing a big mistake by buying this stuff. Of course I will work hard on solving any compatibility problem, but again, I want to make sure Its a good start.
This is as far as my budget can go.

- I'll go with this board because i heard it fits in the G5 (mATX?).

- I want a power procesor for the rendering. I think an i7 3770k with do it. I see people always go with the K version (OC?)

-Not sure here if its a good option. Doesn't have CUDA which I hear is great. GeForce GTX650 1Gb

- 16gb Ram Memory

- 650w PSU

-128GB SSD and 2TB HD

-H60 Liquid Cooling for the procesor.

-TPlink wifi Card

-LG BH14NS40 Internal Blu-ray burner. The only one compatible (i think) I found.

I would really love to hear comments and opinions!

Thank you guys!

Looking good. Make sure that the motherboard is supported!

In general a G5 mod is not that hard, because there are already a lot of compatible sources which can be used (e.g. laserhive).
If you want more detailed informations and help for that mod, open a new thread in the G5 section.

In general:
mATX is easier, but ATX is also possible. Liquid cooling is not really necessary, but you choose one you also need to make sure to be able to mount the radiator+fan (120mm fan option the back).
650W will be more than enough.

Thanks for the advice! Is good to know it looks good.
The moderboard should be suported, Right? it was taken from the buyer's guide.
I changed the GPU from the GTX650 to the GTX660 which I heard performs much better with video editing.

also, Is the any big disadvantage when going for a mATX instead of a ATX?
Edit: I would like to overclock the processor.
Thanks!
