Ok well, I own an old outdated MacPro that I COULD upgrade but I'd rather build myself a dual boot PC/Mac. I work for a company where I'm used to HEAVY HEAVY editing including 3D modeling and visual effects along with high production quality video editing. Now to the point, I'd like to build myself a Hackintosh and I need a little advice on some of the parts for the build.

Mobo: http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GA-Z68XP ... B0054OWTQU
It would be nice to find a motherboard that supports at least up to 64GBs of RAM in case of future upgrading. (Highly Unlikely, but JUST incase.)

Memory: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance ... B006507PJI
You're probably like why 32GB of RAM? That's overkill and unnecessary. Well, to be honest, it's not. I get 16GBs of ram running at 99% speed at my job and it's still pretty inefficient. I just needed to speed up the rendering process.

Processor: http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-i7-270 ... B005X64OA8

Graphics/Video Card: This is my #1 problem. I would like to get a professional graphics card. Something like a nVidia that has CUDA technology. Like this: http://www.amazon.com/PNY-DisplayPort-P ... B0028N6YHU

But I've read quite a few reviews and I've seen that there are different versions of that card that do ALMOST the same for less? This is where I need help. Should I go for a card like this? Or one such as the ATI Radeon HD6850: http://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-Radeon-D ... =1-1-fkmr0

Money isn't a HUGE issue with this build. I'd like to get a Graphics/Video card that will work great for video editing and 3D modeling and animating if not BEST for it. If someone could help me out with this build it would be GREAT. I appreciate anything I get from anyone, Thanks in Advance!

If you are going to go for the Quadro FX cards, do not get the Mac version for installation in a PC as the power cable connector is not the same - the Mac card comes with a special cable to connect to the Mac Pro logic board. Get the comparable PC version so the PCIe cables from the ATX power supply will work.

Thanks for the Heads Up! I appreciate it!
