Building my first hackintosh audio pc

hey guys . so my previous thread got deleted because i used links i wasn't allowed to . i'm sorry about that and have now read the rules through ..

but following up on my situation. I have made a list of components :

Mobo : Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UDH5

CPU : Intel i7 3770k QUAD CORE 3.5 GHZ

CPU COOLER : NZXT Kraken X60 Liguid

RAM : Cosair Vengeance 16 gb

POWER SUPPLY : Corsair Enthusiast 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

DISK DRIVE : Sony AD-7280S-0B DVD/CD Writer

WIFI : TP-Link TL-WDN4800 802.11a/b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi AdapterW

CASE : Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case

SSD : SAMSUNG 840 SERIES 512 GB

HDD : SEAGATE BARRACUDA 2 TB

FANS 2 Cougar CF-D12HB-B 64.4 CFM 120mm Fan . 1 NZXT FS-200RB-BLED 89.5 CFM 200mm Fan

What do you guys think ? will it be compatible with mountain lion ?

I would use a Lite-On iHAS124 DVD drive instead of the sony, as it might not be compatible.

The Sony is definitely compatible. I would have doubts about the Lite-On.
 
Sony is the best option!

Most of the other ODDs are not 100% supported by OSX, like my LG. The not supported ODDs are working, but are sometimes making some rattle noise. That is a kind of check up on the ODD by OSX. Doesn't happen with Sony drives.
