Hi everyone! This is my very first build (and also post). I’ve decided that my old late 2009 iMac 21.5” needed to be replaced with a brand new HackIntosh.
Working:
USB
Shutdown/Reboot (thanks to the severals posts on this topic!)
Sleep/Wake
Audio
WiFi + Bluetooth (native)
iMessage (update April, 6th 2019)
Facetime (incl. Video)
Not working:
Update March, 13th 2019
The only way to get the images preview (either pressing the space bar or with the application) working is to select
Mac Pro 6.1 as model
Thanks to guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-creating-a-custom-ssdt-for-usbinjectall-kext.211311/ I could manage to have my USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 working. There's just one thing bothering me : it seems I am not able to disable the port limit of 15.
Update March, 25th 2019
Eventually I could set in the SMBIOS Section the model iMac 18,3
Thanks to guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-creating-a-custom-ssdt-for-usbinjectall-kext.211311/ I could manage to have my USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 working. Nevertheless I could managed to configure 24 UBS ports out of 26 and the last 2 are USR1 and USR2 although in my SSDT Table I have no such entries.
Update April, 6th 2019
I have set the SMBIOS Section the model iMac 18,2 and after having updated to 10.14.4 I could eventually managed to have both iMessage and FaceTime working.
