Everything worked out of the box using UniBeast and Lion from the app store. Had to use MultiBeast to enable ALC888 HDA for onboard 7.1 channel audio and NullCPUPM to prevent kernel panic at boot.

Sounds awesome, pictures?

Note: Sleep does not work out of the box and I'm using a USB Wifi adapter. BIOS always reports low temp, runs very quite.

I'll add some higher quality pics later

I have a similar setup using the onboard gpu, 8gigs of ram, and encased in the half length 1u rack mount server cases. Did you need to make a custom dsdt or etc to get this to work? I am new to the hackintosh scene and I have 5 of these systems I'd like to switch over (I only paid $225 each on ebay :D). Any help would be appreciated.

Nice build but wouldn't a over clocked 2500k build be faster? Don't get me wrong I am a fan of dual CPUs.

But at $250 for 8 physical cores with 8gigs of ram, 250gig Hdd psu etc it's less than the hackintosh mini build. :) but I agree at the $700 price point the i5 would be stiff competition

Does Wireless and Bluetooth work on this setup / rig? If no, did you do something special to make it work?

I'm trying to install Mountain Lion on a similar system (without the graphics card). The system boots up to the Cameleon but the system freezes (can't type anything nor enter to load the USB that contains the ML). What do I do now? This USB flash drive containing the ML system works on other system. Thanks for your help.

Never mind about my last post. Got it to work really nicely. All 8 cores (8 threads) are running with ML.
