I have perused the forums quite a bit in search of a ~$100 (sub) graphics card. I want to do some light gaming (Starcraft 2 and maybe a little FPS) but dont want to spend too much. The card recommended on the CustoMac builds (Sandybridge build #1) looks to be about what I am looking for, however it got horrible reviews and apparently sounds like a helicopter. Searching the forums then brought me to maybe the 5770 (which i can find NOWHERE for a decent price), or else going all the way down to the GT240. Would the GT be enough for me?
This will be pretty much an identical build to the CustoMac Sandybridge #1, except with an i5-2300 instead of the i3, and with a different graphics solution.
I would really apreciate any direct newegg/amazon links to cards that you personally have found to be well supported and that might fit this bill.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
