Hello everyone.
I bought an Asrock Z77 Extreme4 mobo, which is working pretty well in Lion.
The only big issue was my integrated ethernet adapter BCM57781.
I was running 10.7.4 and nothing seemed to work. Fortunately, one kext (that I modified a bit) worked with 10.7.2 I had on another partition. I downgraded to 10.7.3 and the kext works well. Hope someone fixes it for 10.7.4<.
Here it is, I hope it helps someone!

I have an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 and I installed this kext using kextbeast,

It doesn't work.

:(

What can I do to get this to work?

I've a the same mobo (z77 extreme4), but I still have to upgrade to 10.9.
I've found these:
http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3610-bcm57781-maverics-13a603/
try them and let us know if they work like a charm
:D
I have a ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 (Gen. 2)
Look for this file, it works in OSX 10.9.2: Broadcom BCM57781 (10.9.2 13C44) 3.8.1
I replaced the AppleBCM5701Ethernet.kext with the one inside IONetworkingFamily.kext (system/libary/extensions) and it works 100%! I think it works for Z77 extreme 4 too.

Any updates for Yosemite? I can't log in to the AppStore without Ethernet.
I'm on an ASRock Z77E ITX btw, but it still uses BCM57781
