Broadcom-Apple card has amnesia!

I picked up a Broadcom-Apple wireless card mated to a PCI express card on EBay. I works very well, but I have to set up the card in the Network pref. pane each time I reboot or wake up from sleep. Not a huge deal, but not like a Mac either. I can see my wireless network in the list, but the computer never remembers it. Other than that, I love my Hack!

Problem solved, I was overlooking the obvious. In the network pref. pane my wireless network was listed as an ethernet port. Since I was able to configure it like an airport card, I didn't pay attention to the description of the device. Long story short, I deleted the "ethernet" port, clicked on the plus sign at the bottom of the list and chose Airport from the list. It works perfectly now and always finds my router.
