bootloaders don't work

Installing any boot loader on multibeast 6.0.1 won't install correctly. I get an extra folder but without a bootplist file..

You could try downloading and installing Chimera alone instead of through Multibeast : Download

Its difficult to give you an answer without knowing what your hardware is. Did you select Non DSDT install, ethernet and audio for your motherboard or only a boot loader/theme?

Did you choose Customize -> Boot Options -> Basic Boot Options to install one?
