I just finished my first hackintosh and I am LOVING it. Thanks everyone!

One thing I wanted to try to do was use a HD repair program called Spinrite. In order to use it I need to create a CD or USB image to boot from. I have done this, but for some reason it is not allowing me to boot from either of them. I'm holding down F12 on start up and choosing both the CD and USB method without any luck.

I have a feeling I am missing something like needing to use iBoot or change up some settings. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply flatfoot. Problem is that when I have the CD in my computer on boot it wants to load that before Chimera because that is how it's set in the BIOS. Tony's iBoot guide said to "Boot Priority to CD/DVD first".

I don't want to brick my machine so I am treading carefully here.

Do I need to reorder the boot priority in BIOS?
