Face Wizard is old, poorly-coded and a load of bollocks.

Use CBROM instead:

CBROM32_198.EXE BIOSFILE.FXX /logo LOGO.BMP

Works every time.

Thanks for the info. Do I need to have the bios file handy to run that command, and are there any know gotchas in just updating the image as you specified?

This worked for me.

And, to chime in, I have a gigabyte motherboard and -- likewise -- it flips back to black text, IRQ numbers, etc etc. I don't know a way around it.

Except to remind yourself that your computer costs less than a mac
