I miserably got stuck at the Yosemite -> El Capitan update.
As recommended here's what i did :

* Was running Yosemite with unibeast + multibeast.

* Created the USB using unibeast 6.1.1

* System restart and ran a Yosemite boot from USB to see if things were fine.

* Boot went as usual.

* Once things felt fine, created a Yosemite files folder on desktop.

* Copied '\Extras' to 'Yosemite files' and deleted it.

* Removed the kext files from System/Library/Extensions and moved them to 'Yosemite files' and 'Library/Extensions'.

* Ran a 'sudo rm /boot' .. entered password and got back to root.

* System Restart. Did F12. Chose USB.

* And now all i get is

boot0 : GPT
boot0 : test
boot0 : test
boot0 : done
boot1 : error

Can someone help. Please.
I cannot access the installer screen or get to the terminal anyhow.

I am stuck like in no place. All my stuff is in there.
I can't even boot from HD also. I keep getting the boot1 error.
Can someone please help on what can i do?

You may need to remake the flash drive (If possible).
EDIT: This could also be a Hard-Drive issue too.

how can i remake the flash drive. I can't boot from my HD also.
I tried changing my USB, that didn't help too.
I've removed all USB devices and removed the HDMI monitor.
Also unplugged the ethernet cable.

When i did boot with this USB the first time around. Things went fine!!
Why am i facing this issue now??

What did you use to make the UniBeast flash drive to install Yosemite? A pre-existing Mac, another Hackintosh?

I have an iMac.
I lost my previous USB, i used to boot my hackintosh.
Do u suggest i should make another USB, boot back to yosemite with the older setup??
I could do that. The question is what to do after that??
What steps i took that went wrong? :banghead:

Yes, remake it. That's what I would suggest. If you have anymore concerns or errors be sure to let me know. And I would just get all your data on a flash-drive and install El Captain with Clover. Otherwise, I am unable to help. I am having an issue myself with installing El Captain.

Seems like a bad day for me.

I am trying to create a bootable pen drive with Unibeast 5.0.1 and my older mavericks installer. And now all i get is this.

Your selected Mac OS X Installer is incomplete. Please delete all copies of the installer from all mounted volumes and redownload it again from the Mac App Store.

What should i do now?

For all I know, Mavericks isn't on the Mac App Store anymore. Your going to have to make a El Captain install and maybe getting all your stuff off the old drive. It depends if you have another drive or if you are going to partition. Other I would suggest having to start fresh and installing El Captain. Next time I would make a backup before doing any upgrading.

Ok. I had made my USB with UEFI support and kept my BIOS to boot with legacy.

:roll2::roll2::roll2::roll2:

So finally i am getting to install el capitan. Will report my further findings.
