Boot Kernel Errors - Chimera 1.5.4

Fresh Install 10.7, software uodate to 10.7.1

Why is Chimera producing these kext errors and Chameleon is not? Fortunately my audio is working. Suggestions?


When I boot Chimera 1.5.4, Console shows the following:

i have same errors on 10.7.2 with Chimera, audio working

I had similar errors and had to revert to chimera 1.41. No errors there. I found that chameleon 2.1 r1493 fixed the problem and also fixed FaceTime/icloud (using it from a USB stick for now until chimera is fixed).

Older multibeast 3.8 I think has it and should be in the download archive.

Remember you need a com.apple.Boot.plist for older chimera and newer multi-beast 4.x/chimera 1.54 needs org.chameleon.boot.plist. If testing between the boot loaders and you want the same settings, you may need to keep the files the same.

The errors are due to Chimera supporting the HD3000 GPU and Chameleon not.

Although it sounds like you guys aren't getting a kernel panic? I cannot boot into OS X after upgrading to 1.5.4. I'm not sure how I would revert back to previous Chimera/MultiBeast versions when I can't boot. rBoot CDs are also not working, nor is an image of my Lion boot disk I made before the 1.5.4 upgrade--kernel panics prevent boot on all.

Does anyone know what might be wrong, or how I can go about rolling back Chimera/MultiBeast?

I have the same issue.

Updated to 10.7.2 got KP.

Was able to boot with -v -x -f npci=0x2000 pcirootuid=1
Ran MB 4.03 and did audio rollback and installed latest chimera.

Now I can't boot at all with rboot or using the above line with the new chimera.

Any tricks on how to revert to a previous version of chimera without being able to get back into osx?
