Can my boot ROM be updated to use Boot Camp Assistant?

well how can you tell????

i ran into the same issue because i wanted to create a boot medium for windows setup (and yes i know i could do this either with "diskutil/hdiutil" or "dd" too but i wanted to pass by the need of image conversion --- iso > dmg e.g.)

so how could we maybe get BC to run on our hacks?? any productive input?

use clover. When you choose an SMBIOS using clover configurator it will automatically inject all of that information and BC will work.
