I'm running on a P8h77-i motherboard.
Since upgrading to Mavericks I've been having troubles where iTunes home sharing, or really anything that uses bonjour, isn't working. My apple TV has trouble detecting my computer, iPhone has trouble syncing wirelessly, and using the application iNet for the iPhone which scans the network shows my computer had no advertised bonjour services.
I've tried juggling around every kext I could possibly find, wiped out: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist &
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist, deleted cache and more but nothing has fixed it.
I even tried putting the ethernet in promisc mode but that only worked temporarily!!
The console error messages for mDNS look like this:
11/29/2013 7:20:48.975 AM mDNSResponder[72]: ERROR: mDNSPlatformWriteTCP - send Broken pipe
11/29/2013 7:20:48.975 AM mDNSResponder[72]: mDNSSendDNSMessage: write message failed -1/46
11/29/2013 7:24:05.155 AM mDNSResponder[72]: ERROR: handle_resolve_request bad interfaceIndex 1
11/29/2013 7:24:05.157 AM mDNSResponder[72]: ERROR: handle_resolve_request bad interfaceIndex 2
11/29/2013 7:24:05.158 AM mDNSResponder[72]: ERROR: handle_resolve_request bad interfaceIndex 3
...
...
11/29/2013 7:24:05.192 AM mDNSResponder[72]: ERROR: handle_resolve_request bad interfaceIndex 23
11/29/2013 7:24:05.194 AM mDNSResponder[72]: ERROR: handle_resolve_request bad interfaceIndex 24
Also I notice using bonjour browser to scan the network always says "can't resolve link-local name" for every service (not just those running on the computer) which may or may not be related.
Anyone have any ideas whats going on?
