Bluray Burner doesn't work

I tried burning with Toat, Disk Utility and DVD Studio Pro and get errors about the disk burner not responding. Any suggestions? A kext I might need? Somehting installed wrong? Thanks

Since Apple doesn't support Blu-ray, you're got quite a head wind to over come. What is your make/model # of your optical drive? I think it might be your optical drive rather than the applications. Toast does require an additional Blu-ray option to burn Blu-rays.

Well it's a blurry burner but I tried burning a DVD. Its and LG bluray drive and I use to use it fine as an external on my iMac. Thanks

I tried Burner but still no luck =( I installed all the drive drivers through multibeast. Could it be a problem with the port the burner is plugged into on the board? Is there anything else it can be? I really need to burn a DVD to send into a film festival but it won't work!! THanks
