Bluetooth Dongle

Have been trying to get bluetooth working so I can use a mouse and headphones in mackintosh. My wifi card doesn't seem to work, but bluetooth KINDA does. It connects very briefly then disconnects. Overall not reliable.

I have bought a few bluetooth usb dongles, but no difference. I think it's because the crappy native bluetooth is still on and interfering. No way to shut off bluetooth! The "turn off" button is grayed out.

Any help appreciated.
