Blackscreen on boot with unibeast then reboot.

My machine boots to unibeast, choose usb and screen goes black, loads for while then reboots. tried graphicsenabler=no and -x but still reboots, tried using my GT240 rather than my HD6870 got the same thing. my specs are Q6600, ASROCK P45XE, 4GB DDR2, Vertex 2E, HD6870. Removed all usb devices except keyboard and mouse and disconnected all other drives.

I had similar trouble.
Confirm the bios settings if vga onboard is disable.

Type that directly at the chimera bootloader menu. As you start typing, a text box will pop up.

same here, tried witn Asrock P55 extreme4 Nvidia 6xxx series, Radeon 5xxx & 6xxx series with suggestion in this thread.
its a no go.

Try do on the boot screen -x -v and PCIRootUID=0. It helped in my case.

I have the same problem with my Gigabyte Z68ma, I get black screen right after I choose the unibeast drive.
Where can I type PCIRootUID=0 ?

After trying just about anything found a solution!
It had to do with my SSD (with windows 7 installation)
I connected another HD and was able to install. Afterwords I formatted my SSD and was able to use it in my build.
