Hiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I run the Iboot, them I insert the SL DVD and tipe enter. After all the process the screen goes black.

I have tryed "-v -x -f GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUId=0 and 1" and nothing happens. What can I do to keep trying??? I think is something with the video card.

My components are:
GA B75M-D3V
i5 3570K
Radeon 6670
Kingston 4GB Hyperx

I try Mountain Lion and works perfectly, but I need to use SL because the program I need only works there

Thanks

Your main problem is that your using a CPU that has no Kernal Support for the CPU you have installed - the standard OSX 10.6 kernel will not function w Ivy Bridge CPU's.
The CPU will work with your ML kernel :

What you need is a Sandy Bridge CPU - this way it will work with both OSX ML and OSX SL

What happens to users who try this is that the function of the Apple App store will not work - login etc. (if they ever get OSX 10.6.8 installed)

And as you have onboard Video - did you check to see if you have video out from the DVI connector. should be 1024x768x32 only.

Also your VGA ports on any Video card will be non-op as Apple changed to DVI for its default output from the older VGA.
So does that ATI have DVi ports.

Solved

The problem was the Old iboot CD dosn't reconize the Ivi Bride CPU, but with this one you can

Again this is the result of the Mach_Kernel (kernel file) - on both the iBoot (TMX86 version)and Apple's OSX SL DVD -

Do read the tonymacx86 Forum Rules? - http://www.tonymacx86.com/faq.php

Glad its working for you.

News Flash....

We have a new iBoot cd for Ivy Bridge that supports the Ivy Bridge line of CPU's and this should allow you to get you to install SL and then allow You to get to the APP store and purchase - download - make - and install a UniBeast flash Drive.
