Black screen on dual monitor HDMI - DP on MSI RX570

Hi

I was working on a dual monitor config : 2x 24" on DVI + HDMI.
I've just got a new 27" monitor and I want to go full DP + HDMI but I'm getting a black screen on the 27"
I can see clover + apple logo but when macos desktop appears, the 4k monitor goes black.

I can see both screen in control panel / monitor, but it stay black.

Whatevergreen and Lilu are up to date. I went from Imac 15.1 to MacPro6.1 and Imac17,1 with no success

Any help for me ?

You have copies of Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext in two of the /CLOVER/kexts sub-folders: 10.14 and Other. The two kexts in the /CLOVER/kexts/10.14 folder are older than the kexts in the /CLOVER/kexts/Other folder and should be deleted.

Your config.plist is a PoS!
About the only thing that is correct is you have the RadeonDeInit=true option set for your RX570 dGPU.

Correction you have two other things correct, USB Port Limit patches for Catalina and you are using the iMac 15,1 SMBIOS.

As a comparison I have attached a copy of the /CLOVER/config.plist from my iMac1 system (running OC now). Have a look at it to see what is different and can be used to improve your config.plist. Any questions just ask. This config worked in Clover_r5119 running Catalina, with an i7-4790K/RX580, so would be a good comparison for your setup.

Besides that you should look at these issues:

• No ACPI SSDT's present in your /CLOVER/ACPI/patched folder. You should be using these SSDT's as a minimum when running Catalina.
  • SSDT-EC.aml
  • SSDT-HPET.aml
  • SSDT-PLUG.aml
  • SSDT-XOSI.aml
• Have a look at Corpnewt's SSDTTime script it can generate the top three SSDT's in the list above, from your own system DSDT.aml.
• A number of unnecessary Ethernet kexts in your /CLOVER/kexts/Other folder.
  • Your board has an Intel I218V ethernet controller (IntelMausi.kext should work).
• No USB configuration kext or SSDT for your system.
• /CLOVER/kexts/Other folder is lacking USBInjectAll.kext, which should be used with relevant USB rename patches in your config.plist, so you can undertake the USB port discovery:
  • EHC1 to EH01
  • EHC2 to EH02
  • XHCI to XHC_
• There are a number of other rename patches you should use, plus other general config.plist settings for CPU PowerManagement and other elements, which you will see in the copy of my iMac1 config attached below.

I would recommend you read and follow a number of guides, these should be seen as essential reading for anyone running a Hackintosh system.
