Black Screen in High Sierra with Radeon 7770

I'm having trouble getting my Radeon 7770 working with High Sierra. It was working fine with El Capitan using the Verde.kext, but obviously that no longer works with HS. Currently I'm using Lilu and WhateverGreen (latest versions) and the arguments -lilubetaall and radpg=15 (I've also tried radeondeinit) but I still get a black screen with both DVI and HDMI.

From what I've read it seems that Lilu and WhateverGreen work for ~80% of people but the other 20% get the black screen issue. At this point I'm stumped. Does anyone have any ideas?

I did some research and I think I'm going to try editing the AMD7000Controller.kext and make sure my video card is listed first in the IOPCIMatch section. If this doesn't work I'm going to begin wondering if my card is cursed.

That worked for me on my HD 7770. Have 1920x1080 in both High Sierra and Mojave Beta 4.

But...

Only showing 7 mb video ram. SB 1024

So at least it gets you to the desktop... It's workable, but obviously not optimum.
