Black screen halfway the boot screen (with Nvidia Web Drivers)

I can't believe that I hadn't tried it before. I connected via VNC on Sierra to check things out. The GPU was recognized. Afterwards, I replugged the HDMI cable on both ends and now it works like a charm.

TL;DR Replugging HDMI resolved the issue.
