I apologize if this is a duplicate, but a search of the site did not shed any light on the matter.
I am still using Sierra in my Probook, but a recent upgrade broke something. Now the screen dims to black right after the apple logo and can't get the screen to brighten up even after booting. Disabling FakePCIID_Intel_Gbx.kext seems to solve the problem, but then I lose control over the screen brightness. Any advice?
Thanks!
