I've searched everywhere for a fix but I can't find one so I'm here to ask you guys to please help me with this problem.

System Specs:
--------------------
MB: GIGABYTE Z77X UD5H
CPU: INTEL I7 3770
SSD: INTEL 520S 120GB
GPU: GTX 650 TI BOOST
RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE 16GB (2X8GB)

PROBLEM:
I launched the main drive, removed the usb of course and received a black screen. I then booted it again with a command and got:

Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist] 478 bytes.
Loading Darwin 10.8
Loading kernel mach_kernel
Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/mach_kernel] 4096 bytes.
Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/mach_kernel] 8190176 bytes.

What do I do? help please

UPDATE, used DSDT and used chimera and the Audio 892... I did NOT use the 10.6.8 rollback APCI kext...

It worked, system now boots without USB, however it takes about 40 seconds to get to Login in Screen....ideas why it takes so long to boot.

I have a GTX680, and i read that graphics enabler should =no.... had to put PCIRootUID=0 so I could log into my apple store.

copy of my boot.plist... What can I do to speed up boot times....?????????????????

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">

<string>Yes</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>darkwake=0 npci=0x3000 PCIRootUID=0</string>

<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>2</string>
<key>UseKernelCache</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

40 secs seems long on an SSD? It must be delaying somewhere, try -v and see if it stops/timeouts somewhere.

What if you try

<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>

FYI My Mountain Lion 10.8.4 install take about 2 secs on my SSD, the spinning logo spins about twice then I'm in.

OK, I GOT EVERYTHING TO WORK, HOWEVER I AM NOT SURE what the heck I did.

I finally choose the rollback for ASUS x58 boards and wham it worked... Not sure why it didn't work the other 5 times I tried...

Anyway I like that 10.8.4 has support for alot of stuff, Bluetooth, GTX680 and best of all my see's My USB Corsair headset...

I wish I knew what I did to get it to work but I'll take it...

Thanks to all that pointed me in the right direction....
