Hi All.
I have had long term problems with Time machine, the disk is on the desktop and usable but in the menu bar it says looking for backup disk. It never backs up. The disk is chosen in the preferences and all looks good. My other problem is that Ableton Live freezes consistently after starting up. Both these problems are simply cured I have discovered by changing something in the BIOS, I ususally change one of the low priority boot disks and save on exit. This gives me typically a few days trouble free operation then it returns. I was thinking about resetting the BIOS, since I'm a bit of a noob at this, what would I be losing and is this a good idea? Thanks.
