Anyone manage to turn on the TRIM Support in macOS Big Sur? I have a Samsung 860 EVO 500GB and can't get it to work even after using `sudo trimforce enable`. After rebooting, it still says TRIM Support: No

Works fine for me with a Samsung 850
Did you do any other steps other than running sudo trimforce enable? Any modification to the config.plist or anything else?

This is written to your NVRAM.

Nothing - just ran trimforce

You should be able get the trim status from:
The result I have from running this command is:
TRIM Support: No

I think this is due to my NVRAM is not working as mentioned by @Bustycat
