Big Sur on ROG Strix Z390-E?

Hi guys,

I've been trying to unsuccessfully upgrade from Catalina to Big Sur. The installer downloads from the app store and does its thing. System shuts down to begin the upgrade. On the Clover boot screen I select install from..and systems hangs at the Apple Logo. I can't use verbose for some reason.

So I decided to try a clean install and created a USB install drive and the same thing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

You beat me to it. I also just got things working on the same board. For anyone having problems with the same or similar z390 board, check my post titled "Success on ASUS ROG STRIX z390 e gaming motherboard." I posted the steps I did as well as the EFI's I used.

Did you get any issues with the system posting to safe mode upon reboot?

Hey man, I have the same motherboard but I'm struggling with the installation. Can you share your OC EFI folder? Thanks
