Beta BIOS Z77X-UP4-TH?

I am really bummed. After a couple sleepless night I finally got my Hackintosh going with a Z77X-UP4-TH board and Core i5 sandy bridge processor only to find out that the USB's are screwed. And then I hear I should have bought the Z77X-UP5 because of these issues.

But I am wondering if anyone has tried the beta bios update?

The current bios version is F9

I am thinking about returning this mother board and getting the new one.

skip the bios update, it wont solve anything.

The GA-Z77x-UD3H mobo uses the same VIA USB chip as z77x-UP4.

u can find it with a search in downloads on www.osx86.net.

download-> unzip->install kext->restart. Fully Authenticated. Activates all usb ports on up4 mobo.
