Best Wireless Adapter?

I'm using a Samsung R580 i3 M 330 on an Intel HM55 and wireless adapter is a RealTek RTL8192E that doesn't work. I've searched for kext and other alternatives to try and get it working, but I guess it's not supported. What would be a good replacement for this adapter? Do they have to be half height?

Apple only supports BroadCom chipset. Search the Network section in the forum.

Also, check out this thread: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1143 I've built two of these cards both of which work 100%. Two parts to buy and put together. Easy as fallin' off a log.

I've semi solved my problem with a Wireless-N USB Network Adapter with Dual-Band v2. using RaLink. Wifi is working fine. Other than that the wireless adapter in my laptop is a brick right?
