I am in the market for a new computer, and I am unwilling to pay the high price for a Mac.
I have made a Hackintosh before out of a Dell Latitude E6230, so I have some experience.
I do not want a desktop, as I have to take my computer with me for various reasons.
That said, I am constrained by a $600 budget, although I would want to keep at least $100 for various peripherals.
What is the best laptop under $600 ($500 preferred) for a Hackintosh?
My criteria are:
Runs (at least) MacOS Sierra or higher
At least a 5th Generation Intel CPU
At least 8GB of RAM (I don't care if it's DDR3 or DDR4)
Either a 1TB hard drive or 256GB SSD
Integrated graphics are fine, I don't do much gaming
If there are any compatible laptops with this price point, I don't know. I don't trust myself to find one myself, best to leave it to the more experienced, I suppose.
