similar to Macman, i've never had a problem with CCC. It's a great program.
In fact today, i used it to clone my 500gb to a 2tb 7200 hitachi deskstar. The hackintosh boots on the 2tb with no problem.

This is what I did:
1. install, do multibeast, software upgrade, reboots and works like a champ.
2. clone with CCC. empty drive is on USB. (same thing I do with regular mac to mac CCC)
3. after CCC is done, I shut down, place the new cloned drive in the position of the old working booting drive.
4. booted the new clone with iboot vanilla, ran ONLY the chameleon update.
5. upon a reboot, I get a boot error pictured.
You guys are lucky
