Belkin usb bluetooth won't let system sleep

sleeps then wakes up in 10.6.7 !!! everything works perfect with a usb key and mouse, but if i plug in my usb Belkin bluetooth, it go to sleep for 5-7 seconds then wakes right back up and magic mouse has no scrolling after that... any help would be great driving me nuts

Did you solve your problem with the new Bluetooth dongle?
I had a similar issue with a Belkin dongle (and same setup), I bought an Apple module A1311 but I still have the same issue...

i use pleasesleep app as well, plus my keyboard was an issue so i bought new one logitech wireless. no other sleep issues after that.
