BCM4311KFBG on Mountain Lion, will it work?

as mention in the title, is the mini pcie wireless card with broadcomm 4311 chipset supported in mountain lion? i have this card that i took out from old compaq laptop. i am thinking to build a mini-itx build. if this card is useable in mountain lion then it will be a great news for me.

It might, but that's an ancient chipset equivalent to what was used in the very first Apple Airport cards. It only supports 802.11b and g. If it works at all, it will be very slow. You can get brand new cards that support 802.11abgn very cheap on eBay and other sites.

hi tibck2, thanks for the info. Wireless G is sufficient for my usage. The AP at my working place is still in using G mode. I will try it out on ML installation.
