Hi all,

I have the following problem:

I've reinstalled Mavericks on my HP Probook 430 G2 with Clover bootloader a week ago. until yesterday everything worked well. Today my battery indicator doesn't work properly. It doesn't change the percentage of battery left/charged except if I hide/show percentage. and the remaining time is always on "calculating". It used to work yesterday I don't know what Happened. I tried to rebuild the cache and repair permissions with kext wizard but it didn't work. I assumed that there is a plist file somewhere which I need to delete in order for the OS to recreate it but I don't know where to find it

Do EC reset and re-patch DSDT.

Did it, didn't work. It actually works from time to time but not every time. I don't know what the reason could be

Edit: It seems to be a Mavericks issue and not a hackintosh. I found many topics on Google reporting the same, and apparently the culprit is Windows, because I have dual boot with Windows 8.1. Unfortunately none of them is giving a real solution of the issue

These are just two of the threads for your reference

Try updating to Yosemite.

I found a workaround for anyone who's experiencing this. When you plug and unplug the power cable it starts to detect the percentage correctly.

P.S I don't have an iPhone and I don't really like the new design so I prefer Mavericks over Yosemite
