One question though:

Why on step 3 does he install SL again?
I mean didn't he already have it on since step 1? :?

No worries about hijacking the thread.

Don't install OS X in step 1, just format the drive. So:

1. format the drive using OS X Disk Utility
2. Install W7
3. Install OS X
4 - 6 More stuff depending on install method.
