Do they need to be USB only? I've got PS/2 (yeah, old... I need to upgrade !)
Will PS/2 keyboard/mouse be recognized by tonymacx86 method?

I have the same board as yours DG41RQ and i am facing a strange issue that if i install SnowLeopard/Lion on my USB disk it works fine but when i install on my SATA hard drive it doesn't even detect bootable drive. Tried installed Chameleon, Chimera but with no luck. Have you faced this kind of situation? Help me out here. And as you know that this board doesn't have AHCI mode in bios, so I am not sure what to do.

Hello there. Firstly,
No my friend !!

This board DOES have AHCI mode.Here's where you can find it:
1. Go to Advanced> Driver Configuration> ATA/IDE mode -> Legacy .... and an option will apear ---> Configure as -> SATA only
2. Advanced>Boot>MaxCPUID ->Enable
3. (optional) UEFI Boot ->Enable
4. Also find the option for HPET, change it to ENABLED if it is disabled.

This board works as good as other GB mobos, except for the fact that you can either use a DSDT or EasyBeast, its ur choice

Out of curiosity, I'm asking, what's the make/model of your SATA hard drive?
