wouldn't it be nice:
multibeast asks for chipset
manufacturer of motherboard
automatic download of dsdt(if needed)
auto settings(based on motherboard)that are automatically downloaded.
select os variation
select gpu
done

sorry just a dreamo_Oo_O

i realise that most of us seasoned users know the deal(most of the time)
but instead of spending hours tweeking
install and go:thumbup:

Clover - does most of this by itself already.

Reality is that there are so many combinations of MB, Graphics, Sound it would be impossible unless it was restricted to certain combinations.

The easiest solution is to buy a real mac if one does not want to experiment - sadly with Mac, the line up these days is old tech. That said we live in hope that Apple is not totally IOS orientated these days....

i hear u
but if multi beast was interactive, basically make some choices.
it(multi beast) would adjust the install based in your hardware
i know i know i know.this is a huge request but with the input of us ubergeeks.
it is possible..
based on the forum there are many that have successfully installed os x on there builds
and this input could make this concept possible.....
step 1 install
step 2 download multi beast(enhanced)
step 3 choose options(based on chipset,gnu,etc)
step 3 finalize(reboot)

the dsdt if needed would be automatically downloaded and installed, etc, etc
i realise that im oversimplifying the process..
but it is possible

But if you "dumb" it down to much you remove the user knowledge of how to fix minor errors and then they solely rely on a program to fix things. The biggest pro of going through it manually is learning what you can and cant do with your hardware and learning exactly what you have going on.

i hear u,i personally enjoy the educational ordeal of tweaking the system...
u dont learn the osx experience by dumbing it down..
that said the concept is sound for ease to the noobs..
